Boruto's Return Arc[]

it's been three years after Boruto and Sasuke left Konohagakure. Shikamaru, now the Eighth Hokage, is resolute that Boruto crossed the line after being given many chances, and Konohamaru, now Shikamaru's attendant, adds they have Ada's testimony with her Senrigan. Not long afer, Yoshi is notified that some Claw Marks were discovered Konoha. Kawaki shrinks the newly discovered Claw Mark. The Konoha shinobi wonder why Code never attacks despite coming so close. Yoshi then discovers a Claw Mark on one of their necks, and Kawaki gets rid of it. He notifies Shikamaru and wants to gather everyone who has investigated to check them for marks and shrink any they find.
Jura's Assault[]
Suddenly, unknown chakra is detected. Claw Grime emerge from shinobi around the village and attack. Yoshi joined Aiko to defend the village. When 2 of the grimes attacked Aiko, Yoshi arrived and sliced off their heads. After cutting down the remaining 8 grimes around her, she thanked him. However she complained about him always "saving" her, despite them being together. Another grime uses Claw Marks to strike them from behind. Yoshi dodges it, and it strikes another shinobi. The grime turns into a tree, growing around and consuming Konoha-nin. The same happens with another bitten civilian. Haruki arrives and activates he's Ranmarugan and used Time Presence against The Claw Grimes - Seeing The Most Possible Outcome Was That Kira would die in Process, Haruki notifies Sageru through Genjutsu Communication, about the current assault on Konoha.
A new message soon appears in Yoshi's glasses from his A.I. Glasses, that Boruto suddenly appeared, mocking Code's disgusting attitude. After cutting down six grimes around him, Boruto told Code to call off his grimes, as using the Ten-Tails to create the grime changed them in ways that he would eventually lose control of and endanger everyone. When Code refused, Boruto unleashed his Rasengan: "Uzuhiko", After the grimes were defeated, Yoshi wanted to join in on battle but, Haruki encouraged his father not fight since he was injuried from one of Jura's Tailed Beast Ball, So Haruki joined instead of Yoshi, helping Boruto in facing Code, who was already being confronted by Kawaki. After Boruto was able to do subdue Code, he manifested another grime. While Haruki quickly struck it down, Code used it to teleport away. Shikamaru noted that Code could still be in the village. However, Boruto placed a toad on him, which reported that Code had indeed returned to the Ten-Tails' pen. Quickly teleporting to the Ten-Tail's dimension with the Flying Thunder God Technique, he was surprised that the Ten-Tails suddenly disappeared. Realising he couldn't win, Boruto retreated. Later, Boruto returned to the village where he explained the nature of the sentient Ten-Tails.He also revealed that he and Sasuke were attacked by Code and his Claw Grimes. To save Boruto, Sasuke sacrificed himself by fending off their opponents, taking Code's left eye in the process. Ultimately, he was bitten by a Grime which turned into a small tree and stole his chakra.
At the same time, a Claw Grime approaches Konoha, Jūra and Hidari leaping through it. Jūra and Hidari make short work the guards. Jūra is excited to run into a bookstore. Kawaki and Triple Helix arrive, attacking Hidari. Kawaki escapes Jūra's binding, but Jūra's attack breaks through his body modifications, While Jūra believes he has sensed Naruto, explaining to Hidari that as an incarnation of a tailed beast, he can detect the tailed beast chakra in Naruto. However, Jūra is confused by finding Himawari instead of Naruto. When Yoshi arrives, he confirms one of them matches Sasuke's chakra signature. Suddenly, Sarada arrived. Seeing his personal target, Hidari quickly revealed access to Sasuke's techniques, even using the Chidori. As Yoshi prepared to engage Hidari, A.I. informed Yoshi of a massive scale attack across the battlefield. The sentient God Tree Jura had launched a Tailed Beast Ball that narrowly missed Team 10. As Inojin tried to stop him, Jūra impaled the boy. The sight of this infuriated Himawari, revealing herself to be the new Nine-Tails Jinchūriki by accessing Kurama's power to heal her leg and break free. Intrigued by this development, even factoring in her access to the Nine-Tails' power, this prompted Jūra to get more serious to test his own power. The God Tree quickly began overpowering Himawari and steadily wore her down even with her healing powers. As she finally fainted, Boruto appeared and teleported away with his sister.
With Claw Grimes appearing, Yoshi, Chiyo and Haruki, joined the shinobi team in aiding Boruto. During the fight Sarada get grabbed by Hidari as he appears through a Claw Grime. Fortunately, Boruto spotted this immediately and attacked Hidari with a Rasengan. While a major portion of Hidaris body got blasted away, he managed to get away using his Claw Mark. Hidari returned to his hideout, restoring himself using the black cube. Hidari then returned with several Claw Grime to aid him. Through the chaos of the Claw Grimes' assault, Hidari continued his efforts to consume Sarada, prompting Boruto to use his Rasengan: Uzuhiko.
