Yoshino Kusugi (久杉吉野 Hisasugi Yoshino) is a Genin kunoichi from Kumogakure and a direct descendant of the Bakeneko Clan. She was made the jinchūriki of the Two-Tails shortly after her birth, which resulted in her becoming shunned by most of Kumo and suffered an abusive childhood at the hands of her alcoholic father.

Yoshino is a petite girl with fair skin of average height with short, black hair and dark eyes. She her is mildly messy, with strands jutting in every direction, with a pair framing her face as her hair mirrors a cat’s mane; Her trademark characteristics are the black cat ears and a black cat tail that splits down into two near the base, this is proof of the result of the Bakeneko Clan's specialized jutsu, the Nekobake Technique which appears as a [] Seal located on her neck similar to a collar on a cat that was used to seal the two tails into her. On her left ear she wears a golden bangle decorated with a single red pearl. She also wears a fake black cat tail attached to her shorts.

Without the use of Ninjutsu, Yoshino is naturally a short-range fighter, showcasing a gifted and accomplished athlete, with heightened acrobatic prowess. Relying on her swift cat-like movements, being extremely quick on her feet that she can even out pace ordinary shinobis. Possesses tremendous reflexes capable of dodging and blocks attacks before they reach her. She also demonstrates extraordinary agility and acrobatics, having mobility that allows her to attack from every position, move in the enemy's blind spot, and fight on any kind of terrain. In terms of defense, Yuuki takes full advantage of her agility to jump out of reach or dodge the enemy's attacks without losing her foothold. She has an excellent sense of balance, and exceptional coordination.

Yoshino's natural affinity is Fire Release. Being capable using fire jutsu's before even becoming a genin.
By containing the Two-Tails within her, her fire release are greatly augmented even without tapping into its chakra reserves.
mastering even the Uchiha clan's signature Great Fireball Technique before becoming a genin, a feat which greatly shocked members of the Uchiha Clan.
After tapping in her tailed beasts chakra, not only is her fire release augmented further, but it also burns much hotter and stronger then before, burning so hot it becomes blue in color.

Due to her inexperience however she was unable to develop her Clan's special feline style, however she's managed to learned
that is reminiscent of the Inuzuka Clan's Four Legs Technique.
Jinchūriki Prowess[]
As the jinchūriki of Matatabi, Yuuki has access to massive reserves of exceptionally powerful chakra, which was at least a hundredfold greater than an ordinary jōnin. When under hightened and extreme emotions, mostly in times of great anger, Yuuki gains access to a small portion of the Two-Tails chakra, enveloping her, granting her slight enhanced strength, speed and healing. Her eyes become a faded appearance as the Two-Tails, being heterochromatic eyes, the right being a faded yellow and the left being faded green and she gains whisker markings on her cheeks, her behavior is also altered, behaving more savagery then normal. The beast's chakra supplements her own and is able to manipulate the chakra to a certain extent. If for some reason her own chakra is blocked or run empty, she is able to tap into her beast's chakra as a second source, doing so would also greatly increase the effectiveness of her jutsus. the Two-Tails may even give chakra to her without her knowing it, either to try and exert control over or simply to protect her and, by extension, itself.
