Yuishiki Ōtsutsuki (大筒木ゆいシキ) is a bit of an enigma. As a member of the Ōtsutsuki clan's main family, Yuishiki holds sway over misperceptions and as such, things are not always what they seem when concerning him. His power has been deemed maddening and oblique at best. Indeed, it is said that unlike other members of the Ōtsutsuki clan, who places power above all else, the piety of Yuishiki has been deemed legendary in all regards. While within the clan, Yuishiki was a righteous being, a prophet and a light that shown through the darkness, yet like all flames, his high-minded ways would eventually be extinguished.
Even amongst the Ōtsutsuki, very little is known about Yuishiki, yet such bewilderment ony aids in the quest for his followers "seek" him. His existence is completely veiled in mystery. However, what is known about Yuishiki is that, he disavowed the Ōtsutsuki clan by ruthlessly killing another clan member as an attempt to justify that only his thoughts may exist unchallenged and any individual that disagreed was tortured beyond reason. For perhaps the first time in their clan's history, they would come to know anguish. Yuishiki would unmake them and transform them into something more. From this point, he wished to rule and control the very minds and fleeting wishes of the all living things but this task would require many followers as he did possess the might to do so. He eventually created the Budō Clan within his own dimension to fulfill his ideals.
