Zakasho Hoshigaki (星垣ざかしょ, Hoshigaki Zakasho) famously known as The Prodigy Shark and Ice Shark of the Mist is a former ANBU Black Ops Shinobi turned Seven Deadly Swordsman of the Mist, and is currently the 8th Mizukage of the Hidden Mist Village. He is also the creator of several notable Jutsu's and created several Hiden Jutsu for the Hoshigaki Clan and is teh founder of the Elite Hidden Mist Mercenary Group: The Flood.
Appearance[]
He is a tall and muscular man. One of his most noticeable features is his Hoshigaki Shark like features he also has oily black hair he keeps tied in a ponytail. Another one of his physical traits is the amount of scars he has on his face and body, most of which he received from previous battles. He has white colored eyes with dark blue pupils. As a result of intense training, he has developed a strong and muscular body, he is strong enough to carry a sword as large as Kubikiribōchō with one arm and uses it with no difficulty.
His standard attire consists of a long black coat, and wears his forehead protector around his neck like a necklace to guard his throat. And his Katana sword strapped to his back, he also wears dark blue pants, along with black boots. Zakasho’s shirt varies from time to time, but he consistently wears dark blue trousers tucked inside black boots. Sometimes he will also wear a sleeveless black shirt and matching pants, complete with a waist guard, and Kirigakure's striped wrist and leg-warmers. During his time as a hunter-nin, he sported the standard outfit of the village. By the time he became Mizukage, he is often seen wearing the Mizukage Robes during meetings with the other Kage or to make a formal announcement. And he is more noticeably older with his hair showing speckles of white.
Personality[]
He is a bit of a wild card, he can be funny, calm, angry, even scary whatever situation he is in. He is an introvert at first but he would open up to others if he can trust them. He can also be violent at times, whenever he is in a fight he loses control and will won't stop till the fight is over. He is also over ambitious as he has a goal to be the most powerful Hoshigaki in history. By the time he became Mizukage, he had gain enough power and skill to not let his ambition get in the way of being his Village's Leader and keeps a calm mind and focuses on any issue and stopped being a wild card and became more relaxed, calm, and cool allowing him to think before acting in any given situation.
Background[]
Early Life[]
Zakasho was the bastard son of Kisame Hoshigaki and Shimoda Hozuki, the sister of the mother of the Second Coming of the Demon, Suigetsu and Mangetsu Hozuki and a relative of the 2nd Mizukage, Gengetsu Hozuki. He became the first Hoshigaki with Ice Release, inherited from his Mother's side of the family and would develop a second Kekkei Genkai, Storm Release. He heard stories of his father Kisame when he was a child saying he was one of the most powerful Shinobi in Kirigakure History but it he felt sad and alone when his father fled the Village and became a Missing-Nin when he was 6 just before Zakasho enrolled at the Academy.
Academy Days[]
Zakasho became a Genin at the age of 6, as he got older he learned and trained Academy level Jutsu and mastered them in days. Due to his Hoshigaki and Hozuki heritage, Zakasho had high Chakra reserves which helped him master more advanced Jutsu as he got older. He was assigned to Team 15, which consist of Zakasho, Kibu Awadachi, a member of the Awadachi Clan, and Maruka Suima, a member of the Suima Clan. And his Team's Sensei is Kasumi Hituno, often the team is called Team Kasumi.
Zakasho was a loner and didn't really want to team up with the other members of Team 15, but he quickly grew fond of them and considers them his closest friends. The Village thought Zakasho was a threat, as the Village had heard rumors of his father in the infamous Akatsuki, so the 4th Mizukage Yagura gave Zakasho and his team as many missions as he could to keep Zakasho busy, usually D and C-Rank and a couple B-Rank missions which was rare for a Genin Team, but Zakasho handled it. And to help build up Zakasho's power and experience.
Zakasho quickly passed the Chunin Exams age of 8, a rarity for someone that young, which is how Zakasho gotten the name the Prodigy Shark. Being raised during the Bloody Mist Era, Zakasho was forced to kill two other Genin in order to be promoted to Chunin.
Chunin[]
After being promoted to Chunin, Zakasho and spent some time learning and training for several years to master all 4 of his Chakra Natures and his two Kekkei Genkai's, and rarely accepted any missions, though while Yagura would force Anbu Shinobi on Zakasho to force him to take missions. Zakasho would kill anyone who would disturb him while he was training.
Fourth Great Shinobi War[]
Before turning 14, Obito Uchiha started the Fourth Great Shinobi War and all the Hidden Villages banned together to stop him, Zakasho was well experienced for his age and joined the Allied Shinobi Forces with other notable Kirigakure Shinobi like the 5th Mizukage Mei Terumi after she accepted her role as the next Mizukage, the Blood Mist Era was over, which made Zakasho happy enough to help fight with the other Villages.
Zakasho was appointed to Fifth Divsion alongside other notable Shinobi: Shino Aburame, Kiba Inuzuka, and Ino Yamanaka due to him possessing Hiden Justu from both of his Family's Clans. He was appointed by Mei to lead the Water Attack Raid Unit at the Seventh Front to battle over two thousand White Zetsu's and Zakasho being one of the few who survived the battle but still lost fight.
Shortly after turning 14, he was promoted to Jonin after killing an Edo Tensei Kisame during the War created by Kabuto. After the war was over, Zakasho had joined the ANBU for several years, working as a Bodyguard for the 6th Mizukage, Fuyuki and as a Hunter-Nin.
Seven Deadly Swordsmen[]
When he was 20 he was offered a position in the Seven Deadly Swordsmen of the Mist, and so he joined the Swordsmen and claimed the Executioner's Blade, Kubikiribōchō as his Sword. During his time with the Swordsmen, he became a great fighter, so great that he once defeated the other 6 when they tried to flee the Village and steal the swords, and Zakasho defeated them all by dual wielding both Kubikiribōchō and Samehada from killing the previous user when he was 23. After this conflict, he returned all 7 of the Swords and quit the Swordsmen, as he admitted it was too much for him to handle and needed a new purpose besides killing. With reports of a mysterious Sage sighting, Fuyuki sent Zakasho to the Land of Islands to find and study under the hidden Sage Masters underwater.
Training to be a Sage Master[]
Zakasho would find an Ancient Temple, hidden underwater in the Land of Islands where the Shark Sage Master's lived. Zakasho would train under the Shark's and would become a Sage under the teachings of the Shark Sage for 5 years, which increased all of his Chakra and power making him at least twice as strong as before. He had returned to the Hidden Mist and took up a position as a Sensei from his previous Team 15 position, leading his own team of Genin.
The 8th Mizukage[]
By the time he was 33, the 7th Mizukage would die, and an election was held for his replacement. By a slim amount of votes, Zakasho was elected and became the 8th Mizukage. He helped their economy problem by investing Village's resources in building advanced ships to be used for catching fish, crab, shrimp, to sell to other villages and increase food production for the village so no one goes hungry. Zakasho also used his role as Mizukage to clean the image of the Village after the previous Mizukage's were corrupted and had an agenda for Kekkei Genkai supremacy and try and become a more passive Mizukage and help the people of the village and try and leave the dark past of previous Mizukage's.
Forming The Flood[]
Zakasho wanted to build up Kirigakure, so he disbanded the Seven Deadly Swordsmen and formed The Flood, a group of highly skilled Shinobi from the Land of Water to be used as Elite Shinobi, but thanks to one of his bodyguard's, he placed a Curse Mark on them so if they tried to flee or commit heinous crimes they would die. The Flood mostly consists of Ninja from Kirigakure or any of the Hidden Villages in the Land of Water, but he also accepted several Missing-Nin who wished to be pardoned and even Ninja from other Lands.
Personal Life[]
When Zakasho was 29 he would fall in love and marry a member of the Yumiru Clan, Chinami Yumiru and would have three children, Nobu, Sachiko, and Miyata Hoshigaki all gifted with their own special Chakra Natures and skills. currently Zakasho is 42 and the Village is still in peace with the other Hidden Villages with no war between anyone.
Abilities[]
Zakasho is a very strong Shinobi, he has mastered all kinds of techniques from Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, Senjutsu, Shurikenjutsu, etc. He inherited both of his family's high Chakra Levels and can use both of their Hiden Jutsu's.
Ninjutsu[]
He utilizes both Water Release and Lightning Release, using them simultaneously as Storm Release, then later he started using Ice Release inherited from his mother's family by combining Wind and Water Chakra. He can also use Earth Release to some extant mastering 4 Chakra Natures and 2 Kekkei Genkai's. He also knows Space-Time Ninjutsu when summoning his Sage Master. He also mastered several Forbidden Ninjutsu and his maternal family's famous Hydrification Technique and all Hoshigaki Hiden Jutsu's and invented his own Ninjutsu Techniques.
Taijutsu[]
While Ninjutsu is his main fighting style, he is very proficient in Taijutsu. He uses his strength to deliver fast, but deadly blows all of the body of an enemy with rapid punches. He often combines his Chakra Natures with his Taijutsu to deliver more devastating attacks. He is considered one of the best Taijutsu users in his generation in Kirigakure.
Genjutsu[]
While not really skilled in casting Genjutsu Techniques, from his Sage Training, the Shark Sages helped Zakasho in defending against Genjutsu, so he could break out of High C-Rank to Low B-Rank Genjutsu but anything higher Zakasho would having trouble getting out.
Chakra Flow[]
When Zakasho was 13, he learned how to transfer his Chakra Natures into his Shurikens, Kunais, and his Sword from his Sensei. Zakasho often uses Water and Lightning Release to cover his weapons, but he will uncommonly use his other Chakra Natures and even his Kekkei Genkai's.
Kenjutsu[]
Being a Hoshigaki he had to learn the ways of the sword at a young age, he always carried a Katana with him even when he was in the Academy. Zakasho and studied Several Kenjutsu Techniques such as Descending Claw and Water Dancer Technique combining both styles in making his own form of Kenjutsu allowing him to utilize his speed, strength, and Water Chakra. He can utilize all of his Chakra into his sword to deal serious extra damage having his own custom Chakra Sword when he became Chunin. After the death of his older half-brother, Zakasho was next in line to wield Kubikiribōchō and take his place in the Seven Deadly Swordsmen of the Mist at the age of 20 after resigning from the ANBU Black Ops. He is so skilled in Kenjutsu that he killed all six other members of the Seven Deadly Swordsmen and returned the swords to the 6th Mizukage. Thus naming him The Last Seven Deadly Swordsman.
Senjutsu[]
Zakasho learned Senjutsu under the teachings of the Sage Sharks. With this specific form of Senjutsu, he is able to control large massess of water, communicate with water creatures, and can turn himself into a shark-like person while in Sage Mode. He can even summon his Master Omoka, a 100 foot long Great White Shark that weighs countless tons but can only summon him in a large body of water. He also learned a rare and powerful form of Juinjutsu called Abbysal Water Jutsu which can control a user's action's and take command of them by injecting them with black water inside of their bodies. It can only be broken by someone who is highly skilled in Juinjutsu or Genjutsu.
Shurikenjutsu[]
Growing up, Zakasho has quickly mastered the art of Shuriken and Kunai Throwing, he has near perfect accuracy capable of throwing Shuriken or Kunai in far distances and can use Shurikenjutsu with his Ninjutsu and Taijutsu in order to create more devastating techniques.

Zakasho was originally born to become a weapon, his father Kisame and his mother were forced to mate to have an heir as both were considered the strongest Shinobi in each other's clans forced by the 4th Mizukage Yagura in hopes of making Zakasho into a deadly Ninja to destroy the Hidden Leaf.
Zakasho has completed 962 Missions, 471 D-Rank, 280 C-Rank, 115 B-Rank, 102 A-Rank, and 48 S-Rank Missions. Most of the S-Rank Missions were from his time with the Seven Deadly Swordsmen and as a Hunter-Nin.
Zakasho's favorite food is Sushi and Crab, his Least Favorite Food is Kujira or Whale Meat
Like his Father and the 5th Mizukage, Zakasho possesses 4 Chakra Natures, instead of Fire like his father he possessed Lightning Chakra inherited from his mother.
He's the first Hoshigaki to possess Ice Release
Zakasho's dream fight is against Wakasa Momochi as both of them were former ANBU and both used the Executioner's Blade, but also they were both son's of powerful Missing-Nin Father's.
